    AWEA is a national trade association representing wind power project developers, equipment suppliers, services providers, parts manufacturers, utilities, researchers, and others involved in the wind industry - one of the world's fastest growing energy industries. In addition, AWEA represents hundreds of wind energy advocates from around the world.

  • Center for Energy Workforce Development (CEWD) - 
    CEWD  is a non-profit consortium of electric natural gas and nuclear utilities and their associations - formed to help utilities work together to develop solutions to the coming workforce shortage in the utility industry.  CEWD is teaming with secondary and post secondary educational institutions and the workforce system to create workable solutions to address the need for a qualified, diverse workforce.

    The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a Washington, D.C.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to a prosperous and sustainable future for our nation through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings.

    The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI)
    The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), a offshoot of the US Green Building Council (USGBC), provides professional credentialing and project certification programs related to green building. GBCI develops and administers the LEED Professional Credential exams, which include the LEED Green Associate and LEED AP with specialty credentials, as well as the LEED for Homes Green Rater and LEED Project Reviewer professional certificates.
