Wider Opportunities for Women (WOW) works nationally and in its home community of Washington, D.C. to build pathways to economic independence for America's families, women, and girls. WOW has a distinctive history in changing the landscape of women and work.

"Bringing the Concept and Measure of Self-Sufficiency to Life: A Guide to Online Self-Sufficiency Tools"

The Family Economic Self-Sufficiency Project (FESS) operates in 25 States and D.C. and the Elder Economic Security Initiative (EESI) currently operates in Six states with a goal of growing into a critical mass of 20 states.
